Pretty cool story on Jurgen. I didn't realize he's been living here in the U.S. for over 10 years now.

That's just a straight up mental issue that dude has. Should not be allowed to ever play the game professionally again. There simply is no explaining that other than plain good ole fashioned crazy.
...and why has FIFA not already addressed this with their announcement of his banning. The evidence is clear.

Before this thing happened, I do remember thinking, "That guy has some huge donkey teeth." Well, apparently he knows how to use them.
Quote:Another surprise. I really didn't see Greece qualifying for the next round. And there's now a very real chance that none of the African teams will make it through... Can't remember the last time that happened. Mexico 86 maybe ? I don't know. I think Nigeria has a clear path to the next round. Algeria is looking pretty good too. Quote:I don't know. I think Nigeria has a clear path to the next round. Algeria is looking pretty good too.But that's what the talking heads said yesterday.... I agree with you. Nigeria is in real good shape. They are in the same basic boat as the U.S. A tie today and they are in. A loss and they still look ok depending on score. Iran has to win by at least two. Algeria isn't sitting as pretty but they have a decent shot. I think they'll look for the tie tomorrow and I am not sure Russia will score enough to overcome them if they win.

Quote: I think Argentina could play it safe, knowing they only need a draw to win the group. And guess how many goals Iran has scored. We show less advertisements to registered users. Yep.
They played brilliant Saturday. I felt bad when they gave up the late goal to Messi. But there was nothing they could do to stop it.
So who's going to win this thing? The South Americans look really good but I think Argentina are the best of that bunch but they not good enough to beat the Germans so GERMANY is my pick

I've been surprised by a lot of results at this World Cup it's been brilliant !
Has anyone else seen this line ? True ? (From a newspaper over here) "The USA's draw with Portugal was the most-watched football match ever in the United States, with 24.7 million people tuning in - more than for the NBA finals." Quote:I've been surprised by a lot of results at this World Cup it's been brilliant !Yup, been around the news here. Pretty crazy. I love it. It's nuts the buzz for the game tomorrow here too. A noon game, soccer, in the U.S. and the country is buzzing. There are 15-20 watch parties around town, multiply that by, well I don't know what the number would be, but multiply that by a large number across the country and the amount of eyes watching will be crazy for the day and time of the game.

Quote:Yup, been around the news here. Pretty crazy. I love it. It is really great to see. I remember going to BW3 on Baymeadows last WC to watch Algeria/US and it was pretty crowded. Nothing like we've seen this year though. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
