When the logo was revealed, I thought it was a gay cat. Now, looking at it so long, I look at the old logo, and it doesn't look as good as the present one. The helmets were [BLEEP] when they first came out, and now I am indifferent about them. I guess I'm just accepting it because I see so much. With that being said, they need to change it to one color. I think a gold helmet looks good with the black jersey.

Fix the gradient?? There has to be some kind of gradient to fix first!! What we have now is just two toned...

 

yep.. this is my issue with the helmet design. It would look pretty good had they incorporated a true gradient/transition from the matte black front, into the gold back.

 

it looks silly right now as is.

I like the Gold portion of the helmet. I don't get all the matte black love personally. I happen to really like the "satin" look they are coming up with lately though. It's not gloss, but not matte either. Miami Hurricanes helmets are sort of an anodized orange and those were pretty sharp! I think a Gold satin look would be nice.
