Hopefully they do. The jerseys I have no problem with. But that helmet is absolutely hideous. Whatever Khan and the team gave Nike to design that two-tone monstrosity, they need to ask for a refund. I had some family in town last week and we were watching the game. By the end of that embarassing blowout, the number one discussion was about how ugly the helmet looks.

 

Just make it all black and we'll forgot that terrible half and half thing existed.

 

It is bad enough we have to watch out favorite team get embarrassed on the field every week. They look ridiculous doing so in their awful helmets.

It grew on me and it's gonna be another 3 or so years before they can change it anyway. I think that's what I read somewhere anyway.

The funny part about uniform changes is teams go back to their classic look in the end. The Bills went through three or four uniform changes and now are back to their classic look. Same with the 49ers. They tweaked their uniforms alot in the 90's and 2000's but now they look like the Montana era again. Same thing with the Jets, Vikings, Giants. They end up back with the simple look.

I am not a fan of the helmets, but I wouldn't notice them if the team was say 9-1.   With that said, they are not very well done.  I would prefer a solid gold with the current logo and uniforms.  That would still be a pretty unique combo and look less like the team is just trying to save money by skimping on paint.

When the logo was revealed, I thought it was a gay cat.  Now, looking at it so long, I look at the old logo, and it doesn't look as good as the present one.  The helmets were [BLEEP] when they first came out, and now I am indifferent about them.  I guess I'm just accepting it because I see so much.  With that being said, they need to change it to one color. I think a gold helmet looks good with the black jersey.
