Bradley knows him well. Lane's dad is one of Bradley's biggest mentors.

I'd take him here but I don't think he would leave Alabama.

I think Greg Roman would work. I think Dirk Koetter would work.

NO on Charlie Weis lol.
Wasn't Dirk an OC for Jags a few years back. I would say Marty Shotinhimre but I also think he was too. It's hard to remember sometimes.

Would we expect to hear about interviews/candidates or one day will we just hear "____ has been hired to be the Jaguars OC"?

The guys on the Saints board are still lamenting the loss of Aaron Kromer and what he did for their Oline and their Offense in general. Apparently many of their Olineman became All-Pros during his tenure. Oh yeah and he employs a ZBS along the OIine.

Jerry Sullivan is  the likely candidate to be interim OC for Senior Bowl if no one hired by then.

(Oehser mentioned this, and I agree. )

He ran Arizona's offense in 2003. It was not a good year for the Cardinals in any area including offense.

Makes sense but I sort of hope they hire someone before that unless they have someone from the Super Bow participants in mind

Im iffy on Roman. Alex Smith was no where near as bad as Gabbert and thats not debatable at least Smith could show flashes of intermediate and deep ball ability.

Reading that snippet on Greg Olsen is interesting. Derek Carr did play well and Olsen was willing to let him air it out down the field.

Not sure about their running scheme but i actually like what Oakland was doing with Carr given that they have talent issues, injury problems and and are in a tougher division defensive wise.

If JDR is hired by Oakland, I could see him keeping Olsen.

Saw this on Twitter. Linehan is not a name I have heard mentioned but he should hit the open market.

Bet him on himself. Should be in demand after his work in Dallas

i have to believe that we're interviewing candidates as well.  It's frustrating that we're not hearing anything like we're hearing about the other teams.  I just want to get the guy we want, not the leftovers.

Has he ever called plays before?

Not in the NFL. I can understand how that could be concerning.
