Quote:I am suprised that many teams whom fired their Head Coach havent hired anyone yet.I believe ( just a gut feeling, no other source of information) that Gus is looking at the Clots QB coach Clyde Christensen...He has a nice bio and 19 years coaching experience, 13 of them with the Clots...http://www.colts.com/team/coaches/Clyde-...57521cd289 I have said I'd like to see Kevin Gilbride as Gus's OC, but I think I'd take this guy over him We show less advertisements to registered users. Kirby Wilson would come nice and cheap. Sounds like something the Jags would do. Never called a play in his life.
What's AP going to do without Kirby as the RB coach?
I'd rather have Kirby Puckett. At least we'd have a Hall of Famer on our staff.

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Coaching career Wilson has coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and the Washington Redskins. Wilson was hired in January 2007 as the Pittsburgh Steelers <a class="" href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Running_backs_coach' title="Running backs coach">running backs coach</a> after Dick Hoak retired. He was hired when Mike Tomlin took over the team after Bill Cowher resigned early in 2007. At the college level, Wilson has coached at Pasadena City College, Los Angeles Southwest College, Southern Illinois, Wyoming, USC and Iowa State. Kirby is a member of Iota Phi Theta fraternity. Prior to making the jump to the NFL, he coached RB Troy Davis to a year where he ran for over 2,000 yards[1] in 1995 and over 2,100 yards[2] in 1996.

There goes the theory they will hire based solely on experience or being buddies with Gus. It's going to come down to philosophy, ability to install an offense, develop player talent, acquire quality a staff, and manage the entire staff.
Roman??? Why --- let's focus in on Kirby !! I just bought additional season tickets on the news that we were bringing in Kirby Wilson. Now what ?

13 seconds ago <p style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Considering what Greg Roman did this past season, he'd be a downgrade for the Jaguars.
