If Todd Gurley is sitting on the board at pick 24-32...

Blake Bortles is supposed to be above average when his development is complete.

I think Allen Robinson is a great player. He only dropped one pass as a rookie.

Quote:We have the fourth pick in round 2. The first three picks are the Titans, Buccaneers, and Raiders in that order. None of them would spend their second round pick on a running back.
it wouldn't shock me at all if Raiders took Cooper in the 1st and Gurley in the 2nd

That would be amazing for them

I still don't get the Gurley hype. Is he a good running back when he is not injured? Sure. But is he so much better than his peers that he is worth investing a high second rounder in while missing most the year? Probably not. Running back is position that you can get by with "just a guy" if you have better O-line play.

I agree on Cooper. But they drafted a running back last year and he earned the starting job.

That is something we definnitely don't have. I would not trade up for Todd Gurley, but he could be a good value at #36 because the mocks show he is a late first round pick.

I wish I could go back and find all those people who wanted Richardson.

A lot of people also wanted Spiller and Ingram.

Wouldn't trade up, but would take him if he's there in the 2nd round.

Gene Smith wanted Spiller.

RBs are already highly devalued. To trade up for one with a torn ACL would be a very bad idea. I can still see RBs going in the first, but they would need to check off every single box which Gurley does not

Currently Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley are both projected to be late first round picks. The Colts would be stupid to not pick one of them at #29.

I wouldnt take an rb above the 4th whilst we have so many needs at more important positions

Add to that Robinson and gerhart have a small amount of potential as a 2 back set

I think this will be one of the most divisive issues in this years draft. I have no doubt he would have been a top ten pick if he'd stayed healthy, but right now he's a massive gamble.

I wouldn't pick him, but it frightens me that another franchise could land up with the next AP if he gets over his injury.

I would guess that he ends up on one of the teams with a pretty good overall roster towards the end of round 1
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I think you're right. A team like the Patriots or the Broncos could afford to take the risk.
