Any news on CeCe the drama queen yet?

Not in it being official. He was at the Kentucky game last night decked out in Gator gear having a heckuva time. In his twitter he said he was definitely a Gator.

Yep, I did 328 Google searches and Leo Jefferson (dad) is definitely on board.

 

To be honest, given the immediate change in DC's that the Gators pulled the day after national signing day, I now think Leo had a good point to want to have his own personal interview with the new DC (given the fact that his son was one of the top recruits in the nation).

It was the concern with the DL coach having just left so close to signing day. What he fails to realize is that college coaches, and in particular position coaches, change quick and often. Odds are very good that any school he chose he would have had more than one position coach. For that to be his big gripe is nuts imo.

Coaches change quick and often -- YES, changing within 24 hours of signing day is quick !!

On the surface, and from the outside looking in, it seems so simple.  From a parent perspective though, I can actually see where he was coming from when I really think about the situation.

At least three days before.

 

Regardless of who the next coach was, that kid was going to UF.  That kid and his family have been die hard Gators their whole lives, and he even said he didnt want to live far from his mom.  He was a Gator lock from the get go and just wanted to be courted a bit longer.  I think it mostly had to do with the dad than anything.  

 

Everyone got what they wanted I guess.

You simply can't pick a school for a coach. It can't happen.

I talked to a guy locally and apparently the recruits that went to the Kentucky game this weekend all had to pay their own way.  My first response was, I wonder who paid for their tickets. lol

I heard he had to go to Gainsville pickup new paperwork and get his mother to sign. Leo Jefferson should be ashamed of himself. Then again if he gets in trouble at Florida he will be saying I told you so.
