Jacksonville Jaguars Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (race for the #1 overall pick)
|
Quote:Well, according to PFT, you have decided to put Revis in more man coverage. That's a step in the right direction. I don't think you understand how much it means to me for you to say that. I don't have any friends really, and all of my assistant coaches are from college or peewee previously. You sound like you are a professional coach currently, I'm going to hire you as one of my offensive coordinators. I currently have 6, I'm not quite sure how many I'm supposed to have, there's no instruction guide to this coaching thing. Hey, here's a play I came up with, let me know what you think. I think we could run this at least 20 times. ![]() Your Friend, Greggy ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
It would not surprise me if the game in Seattle this weekend is a lot closer than what most people are expecting. The Seahawks offensive line is arguably the worst in all of football; they've been decimated by injuries and can't block anyone. Their offense wasn't explosive prior to the Sidney Rice injury, his absence will certainly hurt, especially if Revis is allowed play man and take out Golden Tate. The Rams obviously rush the passer much better than the Bucs, but their formula for defending the Seahawks offense on Monday night was smart, stack the box with 8 defenders taking away Marshawn Lynch and force Russell Wilson to beat you with his arm, the Seahawks don't have the weapons to make you pay for such a strategy, I'm not expecting an upset, but I am expecting a close grind it out kind of game.

Quote:I wish you would spend this time developing your game plan rather than posting on here. We need your head in this 100%, Greg. What do you think I'm doing? This IS my gameplan, I'm proactively meeting with one of my six offensive coordinators on these forums. Did you not see that play I just designed. I'm telling you, this play is pure gold. The ladies are going to be crawling all over us after we start running this. Sincerely, Greg Schiano ![]()

Quote:So you can line up 13 on offense now? I don't even know what that is. 13. Does that come after 10? Sincerely, Greg Schiano ![]()
Quote:I don't even know what that is. 13. Does that come after 10?Coach Schiano, I have the utmost respect for your coaching style. Some coaches are players' coaches. Some are media darlings. Some are fan favorites. You, on the other hand, refuse to be pigeonholed by such accolades. Since you've been kind enough to grace our forum, I must ask: what is the one thing the Jags should do to win our next game against our hated rival, the Tennessee Titans? I don't think that playing through on victory formation will quite do it for us, but if it is your suggestion, we shall go for it.
Quote: How can anyone say that Gus Bradley is a "good" coach right now??? I mean seriously??? I mean - you may have an argument against calling him a "bad" coach because he's not been here long enough, but what has he done to earn the above praise?? Quote:I wouldn't be surprised if the Jaguars missed out on the first pick of the draft. I have a feeling they'll win a meaningless game or two. Its the Jaguars way... #becausejagaurs Quote:We were screwed out of the 1st pick last year.. we don't deserve to have it happen again this year. It didn't matter last year though, as there was no Bridgewater level QB prospect in last years draft. Quote:Well, according to PFT, you have decided to put Revis in more man coverage. That's a step in the right direction. The fact that they have NOT been using Revis in man coverage to this point just shows you either how BAD Schiano is as a coach, or how blatantly the Bucs are tanking. Quote:This might officially have become the best thread ever. No chance of that happening. Everyone except me is acting like only one team can steal the #1 pick away from us and it is guaranteed we are not battling for the #2 pick. Am I the only poster who ever thought about the possiblity Minnesota can get the top pick instead of a Florida team?
Quote:I think we win at least one game, the Bucs we have to worry about but I think the Vikings are the other team we have to worry about to get the 1st pick. They are horrible. A Vikings team with Josh Freeman at the helm will sink quickly. I was disappointed when we lost him, I knew we might actually win a game.

So you Jags would not heed my warning?
Very well. I didn't want to do this, but...We'll give you the rights to the legendary MYRON LEWIS for the pick! He's uh, not on the team anymore, but he's so legendary he can be on two teams at once! I mean, he plays so good, it's like you never hear his name called!.....Ever! But he's good, for serious! :O ... DAMMIT DON'T MAKE US INFECT YOU WORSE THAN CARL NICK'S TOE!!! Oh, and Hi coach! See you back at Pewter Repor---I MEAN OUR TOP SECRET LOCATION THAT SHALL NEVER BE GIVEN AWAY! UM.....YEAH.

The only good un-injured players we have left are Lavonte David and Revis. maybe McCoy...
TRYING TO SAY WE'RE ANY GOOD. WE LOST TO THE JETS! You can win one, it won't hurt! All it takes is a little push! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OORsz2d1H7s C'MON, JACKSONVILLE! SING IT WITH ME NOW ![]() "Put oooone foooot infrooont ooooof the oooootherrrrrr!" ![]()

He's struggled, but he's had no help from his safeties over the top.
How has Cyprion been? But uh, keep using Henne please. He's your best chance to win.....OR STANZI!
Quote:He's struggled, but he's had no help from his safeties over the top. Some people thinks he has been good but overall he hasn't. He is not good in coverage and misses tackles. I think he will get better though.
Quote:Some people thinks he has been good but overall he hasn't. He is not good in coverage and misses tackles. I think he will get better though. Chad Henne is obviously better than Blaine Gabbert, which is not saying much. On the current quarterback rankings list, Henne is 31 and Gabbert is 34. |
