I get more Jaguars news from this message board than all other sources combined. I refuse to use Facebook or Twitter to talk about the Jags. Hopefully, the new plans for a Jags bird comes through because I can't see myself staying devoted when I'm out-of-state and subjected to ESPN for my news.

The decision to take this board offline didn't come from Lamping. This came from lower on the food chain.

This is doubly true for those of us out of the country. For a team with international aspirations to kill one of the best points of contact between local fans and fans abroad seems insane.

These have been the rules for as long as we've had a board. If the content is inappropriate to post directly on the board, it's also inappropriate to link to it. Trying to get around that will only result in the same outcome.

But whats the point of keeping the guidelines and integrity of the board in tact now? I would love to have those links so we all can continue to link. Salt in the wound
