When I'm doing dinner it's either Fried Chicken and Fries, I pick up Pizza or Spaghetti! My wife makes the REAL meals no denying it! 

 

WHeres the fried chicken from? Homemade or take out?

Every now and then I really enjoy cooking. If I'm not hungry, I will cook anything. If I'm hungry, I go for the quickest thing possible. For thanksgiving, my wife will do a turkey and I will also. But mine is going in the Egg. She doesn't know it, but I'm making it a competition. She'll do most of the sides except mashed potatoes. For whatever reason I can't figure out, her family doesn't make them on TG. So, I will be making that as well because, [REALLY BAD WORD REMOVED]. I want my potatoes!!!

That's what im doing with my daughters. I am starting them on something small like cutting-cooking up the shrimp/meatballs and prepping the pasta for Spaghetti. I even have them prep the Mac-cheese for baking by stirring the milk-eggs & cheese inside the Macaroni pasta once its soft and in the pan.

How old are your daughters?  Mine are 7, and they help with the pumpkin pie (as long as they get to lick the beaters), Cranberry Salad, and cranberry bread.  I'm too worried about letting them handle a knife just yet.   But I'm a worry wart.

 

 

Im going to try out that bread for Christmas. From googling and reading the recipe, it looks and sound delicious.

 

Great!  It's really good.  I always love trying new recipes.  It's really tempting for me to go get a piece right now and eat it.

Hamburger Helper is where it's at!  Though I try to cook something nice at least once or twice a week.  (Of course my job is easy and I set my own hours.  While my Wife's a high school teacher who takes her job very seriously and spends a lot of time grading papers and planning lessons)  

 

As for cleaning... I have to be in the mood to clean.  My wife does most of it at our house (our daughters do keep their room pretty clean, at least when it's inspection time).  Our house can get a little messy, but it never gets too bad.  When we have company though... then it's time to make the house spotless.

Wife and I typically cook alot for the family to where it last 2 days, we cook the big meals on the weekends.  If both of us are tired or dont have time we will order from Pizza Hut etc.

I can't cook (very well) don't have the patience for it....so if she's not a good cook, its a dealbreaker for me....

Publix or Tyson Chicken strips premade in a bad, I keep it real man! Just drop them in some oil for 7 mins and you got restaurant quality chicken!

Hahaha, when I was younger thats what got me out of doing the dishes and cleaning after we had company/family over for dinner. I always helped my mom cooked. My cousins and sisters hated it.

I agree, PH really hit it big with the dinner box. I wish they would switch up and add more desserts to the dinner box than just cinnamon sticks. Usually we just get some honey buns from a dollar store and that works.

 

I do a sweet potato casserole with a pecan topping. Yum!

 

Pecan toppings work on a majority of sweet baked dishes especially red velvet cakes.
