It's a shame.

 

I will miss the games threads. Even when this team was losing (very often ! ), I was having fun reading the game thread. It was like we were all together in front of the television. Now I will be all alone

I'm assuming that because some of the content on your subreddit is inappropriate for this site, the links have been removed.  They were there earlier.

These have been the rules for as long as we've had a board.  If the content is inappropriate to post directly on the board, it's also inappropriate to link to it.  Trying to get around that will only result in the same outcome.

Yeah, I get that, I just can't fathom what would be considered inappropriate in the Discord. It's literally just a live chat, and I figure that people would want to see it.

The same goes for Reddit, TBH. We monitor it pretty carefully for inappropriate content, so I'm confused why that would be removed.


Bottom line, I was assuming that it was a bot that checks links, but I guess you're saying that a mod is actually removing it, which is why de-linking it won't work?

And as far as driving people to "my" subreddit, I'm neither a mod or in any way, shape or form in charge there, so it's not even my rules there.

This message board is dying.

We've all found community in one sense or another here.

I'm sharing about our subreddit and Discord because I don't want for people to not have a place to connect with other fans. 

I stand nothing to gain personally from people coming there. I just want us all to be able to still have a place to talk Jaguars.

There's language in the reddit discussion you linked welcoming Jungle members that would never be allowed here.  No bots check links here.  Mods and admins do validations.  Sorry, but we're still expected to moderate this board despite the pending shutdown.
