Quote:When its ridiculous.... Yup. I'm not trying to defend this coaching staff but it's not like we have the personnel to "coach up", if you can't rush the passer it doesn't matter what the rest of your defense looks like. Not only can we not rush the passer, but our linebackers (other than Telvin) and most of our secondary is slow, we currently don't have the athleticism or talent to "coach up" We show less advertisements to registered users. No matter how bad or good they are. Gratz, Colvin, Cyp, Branch, McCray..... No one is getting better. They have pretty much been the same. Telvin is literally the only defensive player drafted who has gotten better since they came in. And I really like Colvin. I think he can be really good.

McCray and Gratz declined hard, which is why Ramsey and VH are even in this discussion.

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
This is hard. I'm watching Hargreaves talk with Bucky and his combine stuff, I like him a lot. Could he play FS? If so, I'm almost leaning towards him now too lol Man, we have some good choices at #5 this year guys/gals!!
GO JAGS!!
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

Telvin is literally the only defensive player drafted who has gotten better since they came in. Yea but has it ever occurred to you that maybe those guys (other than Colvin) aren't very good? The Jags simply don't have the requisite talent on defense to be a top 15 or so unit. How many of our guys what start for a team like the Texans? Who are themselves just an above average defense
Hargreaves 39'' vert.
"A man with no sauce is lost.

But that same man can get lost in the sauce."
Ramsey:
Height: 6'1'' Weight: 209lbs Arms: 33'' 40 yard: 4.41 10 yard: 1.52 Vert: 41.5'' Broad: 11'03'' Whew. Now just for the shuttle and 3-cone. For perspective Ramsey's arms are as long as Bosa's. "A man with no sauce is lost.

He looks good in pads too.
"A man with no sauce is lost.

But that same man can get lost in the sauce." Quote:Too bad that doesn't even matter as much for DBs. The 3 cone is way more important, even for DEs. And Bosa had a good combine. You would think people would have learned by now not to overrate the 40.Bosa did have a good combine. Not great, not terrible, just solid. Ramsey is having a great combine showing off elite physical traits. And that's not including just the 40 for the player's in question. Edit: So is VH3
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
The top tier for us going into the combine should have always been Ramsey, Bosa, and Jack...and the combine did nothing but reinforce that with all 3.

I'm all in for Jack and Hargreaves if we use him as FS; not sure I'm sold on him being a lock down CB. But after today, I don't doubt he could do it.

Quote:But he has "no ball skills" so we shouldn't take him at 5 according to some.... He has Patrick Peterson measureables, but he doesn't have the suddenness, ball skills, awareness, or stats like an elite defensive back. The reason? He is an elite athlete with some football skills, not an elite football player.
Hargreaves destroyed the shuttle with a 3.98 damn.
