Bradley has to find a way to be 2-2 before the Bye

#21

Quote:We got our defensive lineman in Jackson. We get Fowler back. Linder and Lee on offense will be healthy. Yeldon is coming back. We got Ivory. Gipson and Amukamura will help our secondary.

We still get the draft and any cuts around the league during preseason.

Please....let us win at least 2 games before the bye in week 5.

Packers - let's be reasonable. Loss

Chargers - winnable

Ravens - winnable

Colts - coin toss

We should be able to win 3 of those and if the defense gets off to a good start, I'll bet we can beat Green Bay too.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

packers - loss. Don't kid yourselves.

chargers - loss. Again, it's Philip Rivers. We didn't beat them last year when we were 'supposed to'.

ravens - maybe. We only beat them last year due to a lucky break for us via the refs.

colts - maybe. Yeah, we beat them soundly one game and should have swept them if not for our kicker; but that was with them minus Luck.

We might be able to go 2-2, but we could also easily be 0-4 at the bye, even with our upgrades. A lot of this is going to depend on coaching and game planning.

I get a kick out of people predicating games this far out. We still haven't had the draft and we have no idea what players will be healthy or injured then.

I also get amused at people saying we struggled with team X last year or something along those lines. We also had guys like Clemons, Branch, Sergio, Gratz, and Alualu getting serious playing time vs Malik, Gipson, Fowler, Prince, Marks, and whoever we draft at 5.

The off season is funny. You spend so much time focusing on your own team, you don't realize that 31 other teams got better too until the schedule comes out.

Gus' ineptitude already has people reeling in April, lol.

You know you suck when you are begging for .500 in the offseason.

2-2 means nothing if we lose the rest of our games after that...This should be Bradley find a way to be 8-8 ...

I think we have started 1-4 or 0-4 every season during his tenure

Packers is more winnable than San Diego imo.

Would 0-4 at the bye be enough for management to realize that Bradley is the biggest weakness?
Yes

No one has gotten better yet.

A lot of teams have let guys go, signed new guys, and extended some guys.... some players retired... and the draft hasn't happened yet.

Did anyone peg Carolina as a 15-1 team going into last season?

How about the sudden surge by a Jets team led by 2nd string journeyman Beard-o?

While other teams are trying to get better just as we are, the rise and fall of the NFL is sure to have a couple surprises ready for everyone.

Denver might be complete crap this season without a QB.

Detroit might never get over the hump of being pretty good but not good enough.

Don't even get me started on the fact that this division was won by default for Houston... Indy collapse, TN and Jax still building... this division is still up for grabs until some teams shows it can be a dominate holder of the AFCS

I will be in San Diego for the Jags game on Sept. 18th. My birthday is Sept 22nd, will probably hit Gas Lamp District the night before.

My liver is going to hate me.

You lost me at luck. That guy was below average when he did play. I've been saying it since he was drafted that he's very average and it's starting to show. He gets so much love because he was mannings successor.

Anyone read Hays Carlyon's article in the T-U today? He speaks some cold hard truths that will cause many sprays of teal kool-aid.
