Unfortunately, Jags always have issues getting free agents to WANT to live in Jacksonville; usually having to overpay. We won't beat out San Fran for him because anybody will pay him what he wants.

Ramsey is not a pure cornerback, he is a strong safety/nickel hybrid. Take Jack, get Norman and don't look back.

I want Norman in Jacksonville as bad as anyone else because I think we definitely need more big time playmakers on the defensive side of the ball.  This makes me happy that at least we looked into it, and it should make any one else that was mad at the concept that we didn't even look into Norman happy as well.

They sign him to a base salary of say 1 mil and give him a bonus of 15 mil. Same thing the dolphins did with Suh. Then next year they convert his base salary to a bonus and continue kicking the can down the road until they can't anymore.

I gotta think this a smoke screen. Dave knows how much this fan base wants Norman, and he is trying not to look like the bad guy (he's still somewhat of a bad guy if doesn't break the bank to get Norman here). I think the Jags think their secondary is in great shape, minus a few additions from this draft.
