Wouldn't hate it so much if it weren't for the fact that he is about to be 24 years old.

It does suck, but at least he already has the dominant athletic package. He doesn't need that growth potential physically to meet his upside. 

 

The 24 year olds like Dodd that are poor athletes and very old are worse cause they are already basically at their peak maturity and still subpar physically.

I could see Fowler/Floyd at LEO and the other at OTTO on early downs then both at DE on passing downs.

He would fit very nice. We got mad big penitrating guys. Get the fastest thing comin off the edge from the LEO or as a strong side LB. With Poz in the middle and Telvin on the other side. Sample at SS with Gipson at FS. House/Prince and Burns at corner. Fowler Jackson Marks and Odrick

Like I said, everyone could bust. There's plenty of "safe players" that have busted hard just like that. Aaron Curry comes to mind.

And picks dont get no safer than Joeckel. He was rated #1, ahead of 1st overall selection Fischer.

I feel like this kid is being slept on. I see a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see what he posts at the combine. I see a lot of Von Miller in him. He is lean but has an explosive first step and bends the edge better than any player in this year's draft. He can run with tight ends and plays the run well at the linebacker position. Smooth athlete. I think he would be a great OTTO and addition to this defense. Depending on his combine numbers I would not mind drafting him at 5. He put a lot more pressure on the QB than his 4.5 sacks show and is extremely versatile.

NFL Network mock draft said rumors have it that Jacksonville might draft him 5th overall .. i heard that and was like WaaahaaaaT?

I know, right? I guess I kinda look at Floyd like the A.J. Green of defensive prospects. If that make any sense. Long, lean, faster than you'd think. A playmaker and capable of being one of the best in the league.

The story is getting more traction in the news, and notice this story link Peter King of MMQB and Sports Illustrated stating Jaguars hope to trade down with Titans and then draft Leonard Floyd....
