Jack may not need microfracture?

Quote:https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/...5792634882 I think what Dr. Andrews is saying is that he doesn't need surgery right now. But that was never the question. The concern always was, when and if he will need surgery in the future. So really, has anything changed? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
They never said he needed it, just that he might have to get it sometime down the line.
If this is the case then oh boy lol. I just don't see how we get him at 38 though. I would assume someone would get him at 32 immediately.

It becomes a thing where Jack is a temporary player, not a long term cornerstone of our defense...
I dont see how we do not take Jack if there. Quite frankly I am shocked more people are not doing backflips on this board that he is possibly available.

Man, If we draft Jack I will never be able to look at him without wondering if his knee is about to fall off. I am glad I do not make these decisions.

Id be insanely tempted to pull the trigger if I was Dave come our time on the clock. Obviously the knee is still a scary situation but man.... However the Titans and Cowboys both draft before us, could see both picking him.
He'd be my 4th choice after Spence, Ragland and Dodd. Hopefully one will be there or the Jags trade up.

Yea I am after the majority wanted him at 5. Dont get how it seems everybody chilled on him so much. I was not his biggest supporter at 5. But at 38 go get him or Spence.

Microfracture is not as scary as it sounds.
This pick is extreme value. Well done Dave!
Players who have had micro and returned to play at a high lever
Vontaze Burfict Marques Colton (twice) Rod Woodson Travis Kelce Reggie Bush Kellen Winslow Dan Marino Revis MJD
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
Per Lageman paraphrasing from a radio broadcast along time ago:
Microfracture can manifest with different severity dependant on where in the knee bend the fracture contacts the articulating surface. If the damage causes severe pain with slight knee bend it will affect every play and make playing very difficult. If you have to do a deep bend for the damaged part to make contact it should be much easier to play through. Also a pretty nice lamen description on the procedure plus other good facts https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency...007255.htm More detailed some images http://www.howardluksmd.com/education/co...-injuries/ |
