WR Lee sits out due to hammy
|
Problem is that the albino tiger definetly carries this from practice to game day. So not a legit Iverson comp. Over it.

I'm utterly shocked to learn of this development in the health of Lee. He is known for his granite like toughness and utter dependability no matter what. He is so tough that he has often been compared to rare tigers.

No wonder coach Olsen poked fun at him last year. Dude has the availability of frozen yogurt in the desert.
No pain, no gain.
Unfortunately, Lee is destined to join Mike Sims-Walker and Derek Cox on the list of Jaguars biggest disappointments due to unavailability. The best case scenerio for him is if he gets healthy by the pre-season games and gets showcased by Olsen. A team desperate for wide receivers then trades a 3rd rounder for him and he then proceeds to tweek a hamstring in the first game and is out for 8 weeks.

I don't want to pile on the guy... I watched his espn story pre-draft.
He worked his tail off to recover from his knee injury in college. But dang, this is getting pretty tough to watch.
Marquise either needs to learn to play through the pain or find a new team so the Jaguars can get a healthy receiver they can count on. Things are heating up in Jacksonville and the ice he's been standing on is getting mighty thin.

Quote:I don't want to pile on the guy... I watched his espn story pre-draft. Yes, I was really excited to get him after watching that "path to the draft" type series. The one I saw was Bortles, Lee, Bishop Sankey and the CB from Haiti and it was excellent. I wonder if the knee thing and the hammy issues are related somehow? “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
I'd be bummed if I actually expected him to make it through Camp.
I did not. Unfortunate to have that much raw talent, but never be able to put it to use on the field. The most important ability, is availability... and unfortunately Lee doesn't have that.

Quote: ..... kind of forget that he's the all-time leading WR out of USC. Amazing ... when healthy !! I mean, there are already five top notch WRs on this team with ARob, Hurns, Greene, Benn and Walters. They could even keep a sixth with Tony Washington or Jamal Robinson.

Quote:Didn't watch much of Greene in college did you? There is a reason lee was an early second round pick and Greene was a 5th rounder. There's a sizable talent gap between the two. |
