Debate 9/26/16 - Trump vs Clinton

Why do you make excuses for that bigoted non-taxpaying non-american?

The interesting thing about the debate is that some people are trying to frame this as if the two candidates are equally bad. They may be bad in certain regards but to say they are equally bad is a farce. Trump doesn't even appear to remotely understand domestic or global issues. He doesn't even hide the fact that he doesn't understand the constitution. His entire platform is built on appealing to the emotions of bigots and government conspiracists.

Wow it is like I am reading the comments section of the Huffington Post. Throw a couple "DRUMPF XD" and "das raycissss" in there and I wouldn't tell the difference.

<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/in-debate-trump-gets-6-follow-up-questions-clinton-gets-none/article/2602939'>In debate, Clinton gets no follow-up questions, Trump gets 6</a>

This type of behavior was expected after the media's intimidation of Lester Holt following the Matt Lauer debacle. Hopefully CNN takes notice for the next debate and tries to be a little more impartial (and actually ask something about Hillary's personal scandals), but I highly, highly doubt it.

This is biased in its own right. Trump was interrupted because he kept try to steal minutes. For the most part Hillary stopped when Lester wanted to move to the next segment.

Moderating was not why Trump was awful.

Trump was awful because he speaks based purely on emotion and false equivalences. In other words he is an idiot.

How is he stealing minutes when LESTER HOLT is the one asking follow up questions? He is GIVING Trump more speaking time when he does that (probably intentional to try and force a gaffe, but instead Trump just rambles and occupies time). He could have asked Hillary follow-up questions and chose not to, for obvious reasons.

Moderators just need to stay out. Give them a question and the candidates can fact-check each other. Stop trying to force the moderator into the debate.

So you think it's OK for a corporation to own the wires in your home to the point that you have no option for alternative information streams but to make your own infrastructure inside your home obsolete?

Or perhaps you would rather look at it from a capitalistic/free market point of view...

the amount of real estate taxes for his businesses is probably an astronomical number. more than you've ever paid in federal tax in your entire lifetime

If he's not paying taxes because of loopholes and such, whose problem is that? If you didn't have to or could pay far less than you do, wouldn't you? And if you didn't take advantage of it wouldn't that make you a bit on the dumb side?

It isn't on him though. Any successful businessman is going to pay as little taxes as possible, and why not? It is legal and it maximizes revenue The goal is to change the system so it isn't possible anymore. Was Steve Jobs a total jerk-off because he didn't pay his "fair share" of taxes? What about Jeff Bezos? Bill Gates? Are they dumb jerks because they paid as little tax as possible through legal loopholes? Don't blame the individuals for using totally legal methods to reduce their taxes. Blame the politicians who allow it to happen and take no action to stop it.

let's ignore the fact that Hillary lies about being pro-TPP and focus on what's in Donald's tax returns... cause clearly that's more important.

If a dude paints your house and it looks awful, you ask him to fix it. He says it doesn't matter you owe him. Okay, well I'm not paying you the full amount. It's simple

It doesn't make you smart to not pay taxes.  It makes you an over-priveledged billionaire that is the problem of this country.  Isn't that what he's running against?

That's why it's interesting.  He's running against the problems of DC and how he wants to make America Great Again, yet all he does is be the burden to americans.

He divides.  He stiffs contracted workers, he makes fun of people below him.  It's indicative of the burden these corporatists put on us hard working Americans.

So while it's true that Hillary has faults, there's just no way anyone that is in the middle class can look at trump and think he's working for us.  He's just not.

The Clinton's make large donations to the Clinton Foundation...I'm pretty sure donations are tax deductible.

as i suspected... he had some big loss years. which happens in big business.  there is literally nothing to see here.  the claim made by Hillary via the Washington Post is misleading because they only mention the two years he "didn't pay taxes" and ignores the 3 years he did.
