Debate 9/26/16 - Trump vs Clinton

Quote:Ok. So you're fine with him calling your mom, sister, gf, wife, etc nice juicy names. As long as your Pastor doesn't.

Like I said, just curious. Maybe I understand better now. Shows how different and diverse we truly are.

I've tried teaching my daughters that it's not okay to be a bully.  Maybe I've been wrong all this time.  Maybe it's perfectly okay to be a bully.  After all if the next POTUS is a bully, then why not?  Down with the political correctness.  No need to play nice with people, or be respectful.  As long as they aren't going to be pastors (and they aren't!)

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Wrong. We need to be respectful of all people and start restricting certain words under punishment of law. If the following word are uttered there should be a minimum three day sentence to hard labor:

fat

stupid

ugly

chubby

chunky

nerdy

smelly

stinky

big

small

slow

dumb

weak

skinny

bald

hairy

lumpy

no person who has ever uttered any of those words is fit to be President

in fact, not even the thought of using such words should be permitted. Hopefully in near future we can implement the Thought Police to stop the hate going on.

We joke about the thought police, but for real it is right around the corner.

I'll come visit your tent in 2030 once were thrown in the re-education camp for thinking of using prohibited phrases about Dear Leader Michelle Obama.

Are you also teaching them that it's cool if their future husbands bang/abuse all kinds of other women and then they can go threaten and slander the other women? I mean, After all if the next POTUS is the wife that put up with a philandering/abusive womanizer in her quest for political power, then why not? While you're at it teach them it's cool to have top secret data on an illegal server in their basement.

It actually would be if our economy was growing 4-8% (its not).

If you are paying back the required interest and aren't defaulting on the loan, it is perfectly LEGAL. Apparently LEGAL != ETHICAL these days.

Quote:What do you want to know?

Trump's plan requires 3.5-4% economic growth along with budgetary cuts to keep a balanced budget. If he doesn't achieve the required economic growth despite lowering corporate taxes, regulation, and trade balancing, then obviously the budget will remain unbalanced and debt spending will increase because there will not be enough tax revenue.

His opponents plan to raise corporate taxes, increase regulation, and implement TPP hinges on the economy remaining at 2% growth. If it does, then she will have a much easier time balancing the budget than Trump would. If economic growth falls to 0-1% then there will not be enough tax revenue to balance the budget.

By your definition, Hillary can be considered more "fiscally conservative" because her plan doesn't require the amount of speculation that Trump's does. It is more "fiscally conservative" to expect the economy to remain at 2%, rather than expect it to double to 4%. In your opinion, It is more "fiscally conservative" to balance the budget with high taxes on the status quo economy than to lower taxes, grow the economy, and use the new tax revenue to balance the budget.

Ahh, Jeb's little baby, the 4% growth project. Well, yes, I guess I do consider it more conservative to plan on growth similar to what we have had in the last decadeor two, and to fund expenditures via taxation of existing money, than to hope for economic growth that we haven't since ... when? ...

Also, not sure it is fiscally conservative to base a lot of the boom on oil prices rising to double what they are now, or depending on the Crain and Crain study for where to make up the shortfalls. I guess my definition of fiscally conservative is that I would prefer our expenditures be funded from revenue that exists, rather than hoping for revenue that historically doesn't exist anywhere near as often.

If you think that LEGAL = ETHICAL, Then it seems to me you have a rather foolish notion of ethics. Of course one would hope that we would strive for an ethical legal system, but to equate the two is, to put it charitably, insufficient. Dred Scott says hi.

Has nothing to do with Roe vs Wade

I was posting from my mobile device.  As for revenue under Reagan, I believe that it roughly doubled.

the reason that we run deficits every years is because of baseline budgeting.  We have automatic increases of 8% in some cases.  6% GDP feels like nirvana in this country, anything over 3% is considered strong.  It's very difficult to grow the economy but with one session of congress they could appropriate 5 trillion dollars easily.

Cutting taxes is one thing, we ultimately need to have someone in the executive that has the experience and the ability to cut the budget with common sense to allow our fiscal house to steady itself.  trump has talked about the penny plan, which is common sense and easy to sell.  I think that he will also lead the way in the general thought that it might not cost us 200 for a hammer.  Just saying!

Heck, even Reagan's own budget submitted in 1990 concluded that his tax cuts had reduced revenue. His administration's words, no one else's. See chapter 4 page 4.

The homosexual thing has absolutely nothing to do with Roe, so that was a huge strike out on your part.

And making woman pay for the funerals is just stupid, it didn't prevent them from having the abortion in the first place did it?
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
