Feel sorry for beach residents. It's probably hard to imagine your entire house underwater when you have only seen it on TV and doesn't even seem like a reality. Only followed by insurance companies trying to absolutely screw you when you need them the most.

Unless you have flood insurance, it's probably better if you "accidentally" set it on fire when you return...

Yeah, I am curious if lenders require flood insurance at the beach. I would hope they do. If not, I can only imagine the claim process after a hurricane.
