Unless somehow the snowflakes fill the vacuum by default and become a good ole boy network, my high achieving kids will be crushing them at life.

  My hope is that either Louie Gohmert ( Texas ) or Steve King ( Iowa ) is the next Speaker of the House. 

I don't know if either could garner enough support to win.  With Trump and Ryan burying the hatchet for the moment, it looks like the current Speaker of the House is already hustling to keep his gig.

Something tells me even if DT does great things the next 2 years, people who already have a negative attitude about him won't change. It has become the fabric of our society.

People hate Trump for the person he is. He could have great policies about everything (which he obviously doesn't) and people would still hate him. He is the political version of Dez Bryant, I guess.

I'll have a negative attitude towards him the rest of my life, because he's a proven con man and a pathological liar.  But you better believe I hope he does great, because he's flying the plane and we're all along for the ride.  If he screws up the country, we all still have to live in it.

 

But running around and jumping up and down in the streets saying "he's not my president" pretty much proves, and changes, nothing.  It's a dumb exercise.
