Why all the talk about a bad offensive line?

Quote:I'd disagree. For every sack he maneuvers out of, he takes another because he backpedals straight back or can't figure out where he wants to go with the ball. If you want to see a backpedaling QB, go to Seattle. Russell Wilson seems to do it a lot more than anyone else (my personal observation). Somehow he does not get sacked on those plays. Quote:This issue is you are comparing Romo to the all-time best NFL quarterbacks, which is s-t-u-p-i-d. Romo is tied with Brady for career passer rating at 97.6 last I checked. Behind only Wilson and Rogers. So yeah, I wouldn't say that's a stupid comparison at all
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
I struggle to see why anyone who's branded as a 'great' has to always been in the same class as Tom Brady.
Tom Brady is exceptional, it is possible to not live up to Tom Brady's standards and still be a great. Also, since when has being a 'great' solely relied up on football talent alone, a great can also be an ambassador for the game as well as being a good player. ![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...
The OL has improved as the season has progressed, especially in run blocking. I wouldn't turn away upgrades though. I wouldn't overlook upgrades at any position on this roster.

Quote:I struggle to see why anyone who's branded as a 'great' has to always been in the same class as Tom Brady. "The greats" means elite, the all-time best. It does not simply mean "great player." How is it possible to not see the difference?

Quote:By following the exact way of thinking that I explain in my post. The way of thinking in your post is wrong. There is a defined difference between being one of "the greats" and simply being a great QB.
Quote:The way of thinking in your post is wrong. There is a defined difference between being one of "the greats" and simply being a great QB. No, my way of thinking is MY opinion. Quote:No, my way of thinking is MY opinion. My "opinion" as you call it is actually what most people think.
Quote:My "opinion" as you call it is actually what most people think. Key word there is most. Not all. Most. There is more than one way of thinking, the world is not black and white. ![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...
Quote:Key word there is most. Not all. Most. How about thinking for a while about the fact that Tony Romo is a BACKUP?
Quote:How about thinking for a while about the fact that Tony Romo is a BACKUP? I'm not quite sure I get the reference? What does that have to do with what I said? I was speaking generally, I haven't mentioned Tony Romo. ![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics... We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:I'm not quite sure I get the reference? If Romo was truly one of "the greats" he never would have been at risk of being demoted. That actually happened. You can say Romo is a great QB all you want. I don't care. But the few people who think he is one of "the greats" are wrongheaded because he is not even close to the guys in that category. Stop arguing about it if you refuse to accept a fact.
Quote:If Romo was truly one of "the greats" he never would have been at risk of being demoted. That actually happened. I think I can safely say, I've never referred to Tony Romo as a 'great'. Re-read my posts before you sprout any more crap about 'facts'. ![]() 80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

Oh my God.
The last page of this thread is great. Not as great as Tony Romo though.
