That's my guess too. Or maybe Rosita, but there's more a build for her story, so more likely Spencer.

Yeah they only had one episode about the Kingdom in the first half of the season. Hopefully we see them in the midseason finale, but I'm sure their story will pick up in the second half.

They are telling a lot of stories and have a lot of ground to cover before this midseason finale. I'm enjoying the episodes for the most part but am also kind of bored. I guess because I know stuff is going to get real and nasty I'm wondering how long it's going to take to get there. This seems to be a very slow paced season so far.

They probably meet up this week then we spend the second half season building for war in the finale then a time jump in the offseason.

The one storyline per episode set up makes it feel choppy and slow.

I suspect that as well, so they won't turn into Game of Thrones and waiting on the writer to crank out source material.

 

I believe that's part of the reason for the side stories that include characters not from the comic/source.

If it is, I hope they are just teasing the audience for a while. Seems kinda early to introduce them.

 

Maybe it's just the guy from the house boat or another villain to throw a screwball at the fans? Could slow down the pace to the comics even more.

I LOVED the Spencer kill. That was my favorite part of the comics and what made me like/admire Negan.
