I'd love to see Fowler pull some of his antics with Haley on the sideline waiting for him.

People that want Patriot coordinators as our HC.... tsk tsk tsk
Do you not understand they're just Bill's puppets? Quote:Um, its quite obvious. Mike Smith is not a disciplinarian, too much of a players coach just like Gus. Mike Smith also had Matt Ryan at Quarterback. Kyle Shanahan has Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Quote:Kyle Shanahan has Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.Yeah looking over where the offenses he has run have finished i`m not impressed. A lot of them have finished high in yards but in the 20s for points.
I am intrigued by Shanahan. If we could get him and get Coughlin in the front office then I would love it.
Bradleys big mistake was surrounding himself with other first time coaches. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:People that want Patriot coordinators as our HC.... tsk tsk tsk That's a pretty big sweeping generalization. Do you actually believe that it's impossible for a coordinator working under BB to go on to be a successful HC? Seems rather closed-minded. Quote:That's a pretty big sweeping generalization. Do you actually believe that it's impossible for a coordinator working under BB could go on to be a successful HC?History says they don`t have very much luck outside of New England. Just like there QB`s. Quote:History says they don`t have very much luck outside of New England. Just like there QB`s.Right. I'm aware of that. That doesn't force me to assume that every coordinator that serves under Belichick will fail if given a head coaching job. It's a correlation and causation fail to make that assumption IMO. Go for the safe ones that have been winners. This franchise and city deserves it. Quote:Right. I'm aware of that. That doesn't force me to assume that every coordinator that serves under Belichick will fail if given a head coaching job.True but this particular coordinator already had a shot with a pretty good team and failed hard in my opinion. Quote:Going off of past results and those are facts. Why make a risky hire? Go for the safe ones that have been winners. This franchise and city deserves it.I'm not as opposed to risk to achieve reward as many folks here, I suppose. I also think a GM should do his due diligence on the matter and in the end make a decision based off of relevant data - not off of the history of coaches that previously held a candidate's current position. I'd like to see Coughlin as President/Director of Football Operations, and Todd Haley as HC. Shanahan would be my second choice currently.
