I think Vic showed a little more from a pure pass rush perspective (not sacks, but he was farther along in the pass rush moves/hand usage department, something Fowler said he plans to go work with Von Miller this offseason to improve), but yeah, people are way to "results now" minded. I think all the hype around Fowler killing our OT's in TC likely caused this outpour, but he is most definitely not a bust. He showed some things this year. I just don't think how he was used was the right way to go about it. Maybe with improved hand usage and more pass rush moves in his pocket he can thrive in that role, but standing up/moving around is definitely where he's best. We forced him into a spot that he just really wasn't a fit for.

 

I just hate that Seattle defense so much. It's one thing when you have a bunch of guys that fit the positions perfectly, we don't have that.
