They like Caldwell, they dont want to give him up because he would be snatched up quick. If the team gets turned around quickly, Coughlin wont be here that long and Dave will get full control again.

Hearing Tom Coughlin's no -BS responses to questions - hearing him slap down reporters...it just feels like a tonic that soothes this troubled fan's soul.

 

It seems to me Marrone has a little bit of TC in him - gruff, hard working. I'm thinking the days of ice cream and sprinkles are over.

Caldwell is just a piece of the overall pie. Like Idzik and all the other guys in the front office. Other teams have GMs and VPoFO too.
