He was basically just flabbergasted and at a loss for words on how to answer it. The funny part is Coughlin looked more angry than him and looked like he wanted to jump over the table at the guy.

His eventual answer was :

 

"I'm surrounded by people I want to be around, I'm in a good situation, that thought process hasn't even entered my mind"  and he gave the reporter a look that  seemed to express his low  his opinion on the question being asked in the first place.

Yeah I heard them say that on 1010 as well. When I was watching the stream in real time online, I thought the guy said he was with First Coast News.

Not even worried about Marrone quitting on the team. The Buffalo situation was a bit different.


Just got done watching the press conference. It left me feeling excited again. I wasn't jumping with joy about the Marrone hire at the time, but knew he was a good coach. I feel much better about it now. A few things I took from the conference:


1: the FO has balls now! I like it.

2: it cleared up TC's role. Looks like he is pretty much in charge of everything. I know they said it'll be all three of them and I believe that. But, I believe it'll be weighted in Toms favor. He will be leaving his mark on the team.

3: when asked about Blake, Toms answer was short, blunt and stern. I took his answer as the reports are true he doesn't care for Blake. We'll see. Idk where he'd find a QB but I feel someone will be brought in someway, somehow. I feel like it won't be so easy for Blake to win the job next year.

4: khan is ready to win now. No more BS. He's tired of the losing too.

How do we know you're not going to take off like you did in Buffalo?  He said he was around people he liked and could work with as well as there was no clause in his contract to get out. 

 

You could tell he was taken back by the question. He didn't like it.  I probably wouldn't either.
