New Coach...hmmm New Qb?

Quote:It doesn't necessarily have to "get bad" to see the backup. Just suppose Bortles rebounds in 2017 and looks like an MVP, but halfway through the season he gets injured. We need someone who can at least keep our heads above water. That isn't Henne.were not talking about a backup for injury. Were talking about people that are supposed to start based on performance We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

My dream would be Fournette or Cook in round 1. And Baker Mayfield in round 2. Load up on passrush, oline, and CB the rest of the way.
We have a guy on the roster now I would like to see become the #2 this off season. Blake is the guy. I'm almost 100% certain Marrone is the head coach because he is willing to start Bortles. Allen is a guy I would love to see get extensive reps in the preseason and if he looks good just keep him.

Next year there will be Mayfield, Falk, and Barrett so plenty of QBs to reach for next year Quote:My dream would be Fournette or Cook in round 1. And Baker Mayfield in round 2. Load up on passrush, oline, and CB the rest of the way. I can dig this..
This is such a bad time to be looking for any type of decent QB. So many underwhelming QBs out there today.
We can only hope TC works some of his magic and finds an above average QB out there somewhere and brings him in.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:I'm believing he will find his qb in this draft... Me too. Dak Prescott came out of nowhere last year, so we could draft a diamond in the rough. Russell Wilson came out of nowhere in the 3rd round. It's very possible we can find a good QB in this draft. You just never know.
Quote:I'm believing he will find his qb in this draft... I just don't see a TC type QB in this draft at all. I do think he may be intrigued by a couple of late round prospects though. One guy I'm keeping my eye on is Alek Torgersen of Penn. He's gonna play in the East/West Shrine game. He reminds me a little of Mark Brunell.

I think he is closer to Quincy Carter though. . We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

This cat put up some beast type numbers. I'll be honest, I haven't ever watched him play. But here is another example that there are QBs in this draft that can be starter material. Quote:thnx I got a feeling his stock will sky rocket once his name gets out there more. Especially if he has a good pro day and a good combine. Here is a guy that could jump all the way up in the 1st round as players normally start climbing up draft boards. |
