Best running back draft 2017

I want him more than any other player in the draft, but if he's slotted to go somewhere in the #35 to #50 range and Lamp is rated as a first rounder, I draft Lamp first and then try to find a way to get Foreman. Right that part actually makes sense. So I guess Lamp would be your #1 pick if you had to select someone?

You read into what I said, any way you want. ![]() Quote:You read into what I said, any way you want. Struggling to understand your draft logic is all. I mean if you asked me "would you draft ____ with the #1 pick" I'd find it pretty easy to say yes or no. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Donta and Lamp are your top two, which means Garrett isnt. You could just say you have donta over garrett instead of fluffing your comments with made up trades (like youve been doing all off season) to avoid having to argue your own points
Quote:I know you want some other answer, but I can't give you one because I would get rid of the #1 overall pick. You can say that wouldn't be an option, but the fact is, it's always an option, if the price is right. I would only use the #1 overall pick on a franchise QB or a LT and since there isn't a franchise player at either of those positions in this draft, I cannot keep the #1 overall pick. I can only say that D'Onta Foreman is my top rated player in this draft and Lamp is #2, but I wouldn't use the #1 overall pick on either of those guys. I wouldn't use the #1 overall pick, period. There's always a way. But in this case you have a stingy owner who hears you talking and then straightens you out saying he sees clearly what his first round pick is worth in terms of trade value and he refuses to accept anything less than its actual worth. Meanwhile, nobody is offering anything near what it's worth. What do you do?

I've answered what I would do, over and over. Giving me a completely unrealistic scenario like, "who would you take #1 if you couldn't trade down?", is ridiculous. Trading down from the #1 pick is always an option, so why give an answer to a question that would never happen anyway? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I just wouldn't take any player #1 overall.

Quote:I just watched film on all four RBs. I've seen much of it before, but just to be sure watched again. Cook is a great NFL age RB cause he can catch out of the backfield. And can go deep and get the ball.

I'm still not sure which guy is best.
Fournette, Cook, or McCaffery. :teehee: I'm being somewhat tongue-in-cheek here with these comparisons, but I really wouldn't be shocked if at least two of these three RBs do not live up to the hype. Quote:I'm still not sure which guy is best. I'll go out on a limb and guarantee that McCaffery is going to go down as a great RB. The only question is if Fournette will even be better, but McCaffery is has rare talent leaving me with no doubt that he's going to be a fantasy legend in due time provided he remains healthy.
