Your offseason with a twist

Rules: You can only sign 1 high-priced Free Agent. You can only resign 2 of our own guys. And who would you like us to draft in the SECOND ROUND.

I would go with -
Bennett from NE Joeckel and Cyp Draft Tabor CB And I would have to choose between Walker out of Florida State or Taber out of Florida. I would probably want us to take Taber out of Florida. Quote:Rules: You can only sign 1 high-priced Free Agent. You can only resign 2 of our own guys. And who would you like us to draft in the SECOND ROUND. Sign: T.J Lang - Guard - Green Bay Resign: Johnathan Cyprien - SS / Prince Amukamara - CB Second Round Draft Choice: DeMarcus Walker - DE - FSU ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."
Sign Zeitler, Abry, and Prince. Draft Pocic in the 2nd (and Fournette in the 1st).

FA Sign: Tony Jefferson (Berry obviously isn't going to be available)
Resign: Prince and Abry 2nd rounder: Feeney or Lamp
Quote:FA Sign: Tony Jefferson (Berry obviously isn't going to be available) I'd take this
1 FA - Jabaal Sheard
Re-sign 2 - Cyp and Jones 2nd round - If Tim Williams falls that far I'd take the risk
FA: Chandler Jones (If he's not tagged) If he is.... Tony Jefferson
Re-Sign: Prince and Abry Draft: Best O-Linemen available (Feeney, Lamp, Elflein, Pocic) We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
FA: Zeitler
Re-Sign: Prince, Abry Draft: Cam Robinson
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
FA: Rick Wagner
Resign: Prince and Cyp 2nd Round: Cam Robinson or Garrett Bolles
FA: Larry Warford
Re-sign: Abry and Prince 2nd round: QB The QB would not only replace Chenne, but would also be insurance for Blake's arm.

Scenario 1:
sign: Wagner re-sign: Amukamara, Jones 2nd round pick: Feeney or Lamp Scenario 2: sign: Zeitler re-sign: Jones, Alualu 2nd round pick: TreDavious White Quote:Scenario 1:This was my initial scenario but that leave a big gap at SS. The way Marrone praised Parnell's last two games without solicitation makes me think RT might not be as big of a priority for them as it is for the fans. Quote:This was my initial scenario but that leave a big gap at SS.Yeah. The options given by the OP don't allow for addressing every need. If they don't re-sign Cyp or land a FA safety I'd be cool with Justin Evans in the 3rd or 4th round. Sample is still on the roster too. I agree on the RT thing too. Hopefully they sign a guard if that's the case. Quote:Sign: T.J Lang - Guard - Green Bay You hit it on the nail!! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Free agent: Zeitler
Re-sign: Abry Jones and Prince 2nd round: Budda Baker Rationale: Zeitler is best guard on the market. Fills huge need. Jones and Prince had solid seasons and should both be productive (barring injuries) for awhile. Baker is an upgrade over Cyprien and will cost much less. He is one of my favorite guys in this draft and I believe he'll be available with pick 35 due to less than ideal height. There will still be a solid offensive lineman in round 3 and it wouldn't shock me to see one of the 2 stud running backs be the pick in round 1. The running game will be greatly improved enabling Bortles to be much more efficient. |
