Hi guys just wanted to say a quick hello from across the pond here in London.

I have been getting into American Football more and more over the last year ( not sure if your aware but it is really starting to grow in the uk). I have decided to follow the Jags firstly as I am Fulham season ticket holder so have the Khan link and also didn't want to just follow the Patriots or Packers like the other guys at work.

The guys at work all laugh at the Jags and I now have multiple bets with them that the Jags will win at least 5 games this season ( surely this is realistic).

Already made my first mistake bought a shirt with Cecil Shorts III on the back (loved the name) then he moved a week later lol.

Was looking at the odds for the opening week and the bookies have the Panthers on +3 correct me if I'm wrong but this suggests a close a very winnable game?

Have managed to get tickets for the Jags game in London in October can't wait, anyway here's to good season!

Welcome.  Speaking of Fulham, I've been following them lately myself due to Shad's ownership.  As for the Jags, I think most fans are feeling optimistic due to the rebuilding of the roster that's taken place over the past couple of seasons.  How that ultimately translates to contending for the playoffs is still up in the air but we'll see.  I'm heading to the London game myself this year, looking forward to seeing the Jags play in Wembley.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

5 wins, easy

God I hope so.

We'll have a crackin' good team!

Avoid buying jerseys for any player and just get one custom made with your name or nick.  Saves a lot of embarrassment.

Welcome to the family.  We're a dysfunctional lot.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If they don't get 5 wins, there'll be a lot of discount jerseys. A Fulham and Jag fan. How's your liver?

Welcome.

Welcome I'll echo what FBT says, avoid jersey's with names the players change often. As for 5 wins, that's at minimum this year, we do less than that and you'll see the ugly side of this place.

Honestly less than 5 wins I'll be leading the charge of pitchforks!

Welcome!   In regards to the Jersey why not put either your first or last name upon the back or nickname?  That way you can wear it for years, and if somebody does ask who is >>> what ever name you have on the back you can say the best Jaguar ever!  In regards to gambling I am not a big fan of betting anything that isnt a sure thing, and in the NFL any team truly can win any sunday.  The roster is very young (might be the youngest at this point) and hopefully can pull off at least 8 wins so I would say that the panthers have a 50% chance of winning that one.     I hope you have fun at the game in London, hoping that London gets a perm. Team soon...
