Caldwell gets an A for the Bennett pick alone.

Overall, I am incredibly excited after watching Dave work his magic this year...

We have certainly brought in very good competition and youth, at the very least, to make our team better as a whole.

1st round LEO - Dante Fowler - Florida (Pick 3) B+ Grade

Has to prove he is better than Branch before thinking of dethroning Chris Clemons as a LEO.

2nd Round RB - T.Y. Yeldon - Alabama (pick 36) A grade

Slient killer snuck up the boards

3rd Round G - A.J. Cann - South Carolina (Pick 67) - Walter Football Grades a B+

Might compete at LG with Zane Beadles or fight for starting Center

4th Round S - James Sample - Louisville (pick 104) - Walter Football Grades a B+

Compared to Donvan Darius SS might compete with Cyprien or packages with high safety

5th Round WR - Rashad Greene - Florida State (Pick 139) - Walter Football Grades an A

Steal this late in the draft

6th Round - DT -  Michael Bennett - Ohio State (pick 180)

Minor injury concerns

I went with B I love Dante Fowler,AJ Cann,Rashaad Greene and Michael Bennet picks. Not a big fan of Yeldon or Sample picks.Failed to address linebacker need still no  debt.

Gave it an A. No other team drafted better. Addressed lots of needs with very good players. Not sure you can ask for more than what Dave did.

“Dante Fowler is really close because he’s 261 pounds and he’s gifted in the pass game,” Mayock said. “Trust me, for me they’re 1 and 1A, and they’re both really special players.”

Teams didnt rate Williams as high as the media had and Fowler Jr being able to play LEO meets a need...

GM Dave Caldwell stated that Fowler Jr will compete for LEO (and learn) with Chris Clemons & Branch, I assumed he was going to compete with Skuta but I guess not..

I would say A- to B+ in that range.  The picks were decent a bit safe wouldve liked to see more trading up and getting a guy like Peat LT for example..

With our D-line, we won't need linebackers. 4-4 done. Championship.

I gave it a B.  Could turn out to be an A.  The most important things I think are:

-Fowler.  First round pick is always the most important.

-T.J. Yeldon.  You don't want to draft an RB high so close together, so it's very important that he works out.

-James Sample.  Our FS situation was dire last year.  Hopefully he helps either by taking over, or finding another player to take over

-Michael Bennett's health.

The team should be on the road to being competitive.  If Blake develops the way we hope he does, this team could be jumping out of the bottom of power rankings, and out of the top 10 in the draft as well.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

This is the best draft of the last ten years.

I gave it an A. Outside of the first pick every draft choice had the potential to go at minimum one round higher. Great draft in my opinion.

Tweet from Eugene Frenette (@GeneFrenette) - On paper, #Jaguars draft has chance to be best ever. Best was 1995, producing Boselli, RB Stewart, QB Johnson, trade later fetched Fred T.
