no. branch and fowler can and will be on the field at the same time in certain packages. branch has been fairly productive too.

fowler is a rookie, he isnt going to be on the field 100% of snaps and if anything happens to clemons we still need depth.

Andre is here to stay. He seems to be a forgot man. If he was healthy all of last season, he may have had 10 sacks.

If anyone is the odd man out, it's Clemons.

What is Branch play? I can remember him?

Do it. Let him take up space elsewhere.

Branch would not garner anything more than a 7th, and it probably makes more sense to just keep him in the rotation.

If anything it'd be Clemons on the block.

He's worth more to the team on the field than what you're suggesting he's worth in trade.

Branch is the opposite pass rusher with him for the future. Clemons has probably 1 year left.

For once we have multiple pass rushers. Not just 1 or none. If he turn the corner this year and puts up double digit sacks he should stay. Can never have too many pass rushers.

During the Dave press conference, he mentioned his Leo edge rushers that you can't have enough of, and named Branch, Clemons, and Davis.  Strangely, he did not mention Chris Smith, his guy from last year's draft.  I think Smith is the one in most jeopardy based on his lack of ID.

I see Branch as a valuable player.  Remember how it took him about a year to learn how to deal with NFL OT's?  Branch knows the pro game now, knows his role, and in 2015 will be playing for a new contract.  I could see Branch being the "old man" in the rotation in 2016 and beyond when Clem is gone and Fowler is the starter.  Look for Branch to get 10+ sacks in 2015 if he stays healthy.  He could even begin 2015 as the starter at LEO.

Lol no...branch ain't going no where. Clemons is 34 yrs old. Fowler & branch will hold that spot down.

Branch isn't a bad player. Clemons had better bring his A game or he's on the way out.  Between Fowler, Branch, and Ryan Davis the edge rushers are the best we've had in years.

I'm not even sure Fowler is better than Branch.
