Jags might have a chance at Williams if Browns come up and get Mariotta

Titans are listening to offers from Cleveland who wants Marcus Mariotta.

We should have lost that meaningless game in Week 15 vs the Titans

I think the Jags have a shot at Williams even if the Titans stay at 2.

If the Titans go Williams at 2, then the Jags could get a small pot of gold for Mariotta. ..

This is what I am crossing my fingers for. Man we could end up with a great WR and RB tomorrow night.

I think we're in a no lose position sitting at 3, while NOT having a need at QB and having to roll the dice on Mariota (or Winston I guess)

Williams ("safest" "best defender")

Trade down (more picks, atl @ 8 plus a 2nd, or CLE two firsts, plus a 4th, Philly whole draft) [Grab pass rusher, wr, and rb with first 3 picks in great positioning of rounds]

Fowler Jr./Beasley

Any of these scenarios instantly makes us a better team right away. With the top option being the safest, the second option giving us more chance at a better "hit' %, 3rd a swing for a big time pass rusher.

I'm good with any of these things happening.

Williams could also give us a small pot of gold...

I think the Raiders will get the offers for Mariota if he is there at 3.  Hoping he goes at 2 to the Titans or whoever might trade up.

I think the Jags are sitting pretty for trade offers.

Maybe, but why would a team pay for the number 3 pick when they can pay less for the number 4 pick?  The Raiders don't seem like a real threat to draft a QB.  The threats start at picks 5 and 6.

Pat Kirwan has floated the idea that the Jags should trade up to 1 with the Bucs to ensure they get Williams.  Meanwhile the Bucs don't really lose anything unless they are 100% sold on Jameis and he goes at 2 to whomever.  I don't get the feeling the Bucs are 100% sold on Jameis though.

More than one team wants Mariotta or Williams is my guess.

Heck no.

We need Cooper more than Williams. Now if Williams can score points I'm all for it.

We need Gurley more than anybody in this draft

Not sure I have ever heard a worse idea. For anyone really.
