Repeal and Replace Just Ain't Happening

#1

Trump and his Republican cohorts campaigned on the promise that they would repeal and replace Obamacare, in Trump's words, "very very quickly."   Then, when he got elected, he said it would be by the end of the first week.   Now, Trump says it may get repealed and replaced by next year.

Apparently, the Affordable Care Act is not as bad as they said it was.  Otherwise, they'd just repeal it.  Right?

It is absolutely terrible and should be repealed. Trump did the right thing and got the ball rolling. However, the Republican congress is literally incompetent, so I can't fault Trump there.

Do you understand how engrained of a turd pile ACA is? Do you understand how much was borrowed just to get it up and running? Not to mention trying to smooth it over with all the insurance companies the bailed. Now we're stuck with a program intertwined throughout governmental departments that is going to cost another pot of billions we don't have. If anyone thought it would be a simple swap, you are nuts! You are also nuts to make a post that the POTUS has failed because it may take a year to cleanup the mess without the American public feeling pain. The President started day one to get rid of the trash. FYI...he has already disconnected the IRS from the process. You don't build a house starting with the roof!

Figures the radical left would celebrate this, as it would actually benefit the country.

Disappointing to say the least.

The mess was bigger than anticipated.  The cancer surgery more complicated.  Regardless, it still must be done for the country's best interest.

It all comes back to that article you posted yesterday. They would rather see this country fail than Trump succeed.

I think the Chump Administration underestimated the complexities of the ACA and were not advised beforehand of the positives and negatives.

In a few weeks, congress will just say "We've repealed Obamacare, but kept the Affordable Care Act." and then pretend that they've done something.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Maybe someone should have told Trump that when he was saying his replacement plan was "all but finished" and that the details would be released "very quickly."

Makes sense seeing as he Chump doesn't even read White House briefings and only does what Bannon allows him to do.

Half of Trump's base has ObamaCare (an alternative fact) and still want it repealed. Shows you how terrible and overpriced it is.

There is no Muslim ban.

It's not that it's great the problem is it's so heavily intertwined with the medical system and economy as whole now it's like welfare changing it or ending it will be catastrophic for some.
