Jags agree to 1 year deal with Wisnewski

Quote:I don't know where you got your information about labrums not being as severe.

You do know that's what caused Boselli to retire right?

Hell. I'd go as far as saying it's even worse for an offensive lineman.

I'm a physical therapist. I rehab people with rotator cuff tears and labral tears literally all day every day.

Every surgery is different, and has multiple factors, including size of the tear, tissue quality, etc.

GENERALLY speaking, people with labral repairs will come back better and stronger than people with rotator cuff repairs.

Of course there are other people that have torn labrum AND a torn rotator cuff, so that's even more serious.

I'm not saying it's goapel, but I would have bigger reservations about Wiz if he was coming back from a massive rotator cuff tear.

I've had both surgeries myself.

From where the pain emanates and the combination of muscles used, my OPINION is that the labrum is more significant to an offensive lineman.

But what do I know.

That's alright, I'm not going to debate this with you.  You are entitled to your opinion.

Quote:Nailed every question in the interview. Sounds like a cerebral type of guy. This was a great free agency signing (provided the shoulder recovers well).
