A bit surprised considering it took them 6 days to come to the conclusion.  A lot of times if a jury deliberates a long time a not guilty or hung jury verdict is mot likely.

Sadly no, which is why I firmly argue against the concept of athletes being role models.

 

Yes, kids look up to them.

 

But often times, their admiration is based upon athletic exploits with little knowledge of the character that makes up the athlete.

 

A guy neither you nor your kid have met, playing football hundreds, maybe thousands of miles away from the TV you are watching, has no business or obligation to raise your child.
