Draft 2 RB's

#1

Buck Allen (It's STR8, tall RB's from USC named Allen)

&

Jay Ajayi (Adding to that London flair)

Let Denard start. Play Jay the most though. Watch Allen's play show to be the better of the bunch. Just a thought.

Whoa pilgrim...
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.

Dave is not going to waste a pick on a second RB in the draft when we already have a very solid number 2 in Denard

It's just a shame Denard is practically worthless as a blocker. Dude reminds me of Deji Karim.

I think The Saints had some success with Sproles, Ingram and Thomas.

Just not sold on Gerhardt, Storm Johnson or Bernard Pierce, though i do think Pierce would be a good scheme fit here and could have greater success.

The draft is so deep at RB, I wouldnt be surprised to see 2 young backs brought in to reinforce the stable

Actually I don't think it's crazy at all.

I think it makes a lot of sense.

As a matter of fact, I have been thinking about this for about a month or so...at least since the first wave of free agency has ended.

I think it would serve the Jaguars well to "double up" on a few positions-especially after a trade down-to give the Jaguars quality and depth at any number of positions.

Earlier I argued taking two offensive linemen if possible.

Not only would I consider two RBS (one early, one late), but I would also urge drafting another TE (Walford would be great) to give the team 2-3 quality receiving targets at TE (I would add a blocking TE on top of Thomas and say Walford if we were to dump or trade Lewis).  I could also see another two LEOs.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Exactly.

The depth in this draft class and the lack of depth on our depth chart might make drafting two RBs worthwhile.

I'm all for drafting 2 RB Gerhart is expected to be more of a Hback going forward. Storm doesn't do anything for me. Maybe could use Drob as Kick returner and 3rd down back. We've had basically no running game last 3 seasons its pass time to fix it. I which Lsu RB Leonard Fournette was available

Denard would get murdered on kick offs.

Nobody is talking about drafting both Gurley AND Gordon.  Let's make it happen.

We are not, and should not, draft two RBs.

A TE? Sure, I'd almost expect one in the 5-7 range.

But there are so many other deserving positions out there...

Walford is gonna be good. Better than Ebron, I think. I would be all for it. Too bad we dont have more picks. This is a really good year to trade back with guys like Perriman and Dorsett/ Lockett. We need more oline depth and FS. Not to mention that Top Edge Rusher (with the 1st pick) ,

Maybe I should reconsider my idea

yeah, like Dave's gonna do that, huh? For some reason, I just thought about that udfa rb from LSU that was here. Wus his name? Richard Murphy? I'm sure we'll tap the undrafted for a potential rb
