Josh Norris & Justis Mosqueda discuss using advanced analytics to identify impact pass rushers in 2015 draft, the analytics used supports the Jaguars selecting Vic Beasley over Dante Fowler. The system has proven to be pretty accurate, enjoy.

I think TMD's time-test method of selection-by-name would approve over Beasley over Fowler, too.

I couldn't access the podcast though. Did they give any examples of people where they predicted success and went on to become successful?

Very interesting. Dupree is a force player too.

out of the pass rushers, I think Beasley is by far the best.

I'd take him over anyone else besides probably Cooper and Williams.

#forceplayers#, SPARQ, SackSEER...doesn't matter which analytic you use Beasley (Gregory and Dupree to only slightly lesser extents, to be fair) always comes up gold, while Fowler stumbles and Ray completely wilts.

Vic, Beasleyyyy.

Nothing better to bring us back to the glory days than a Beasley chant. Remember when Aaron Beasley had a premonition (which came true) that he would pick Marino twice in the playoff game?

OK sorry. Back on topic. I am a fan of Vic Beasley at 3, for reasons other than his nostalgic name.

with TMD, it will all come down to who has the better name. We all know Beasley is a good name but Fowler has a nice ring to it also

Fowler sounds like foul. Like foul ball. Has bust written all over it.

Thanks for the link. It was informative. Basically said the Jags would be wasting their pick if they didn't run to the podium and select Beasely... Beasely will be a stud. IMO, DROY is what he would be as a Jag.

It will be fascinating to see what the team does if Williams is there.

I'm sure Beasley could be coached up into a really good Leo player... But if Leonard is there at 3, I think he should be the pick.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
