Would you take him, given that he's recovering from knee surgery? He looks potentially like Fred Taylor 2.0. Just my opinion.

It would be very hard to be upset about Gurley at 36 even though I'd prefer they wait till the 3rd or 4th round to take a RB.

Probably true, but I believe that no running back has been chosen in the first round for the last two drafts, and Gurley suffered an ACL injury late in 2014, which could cause him to drop into round two.

I'd be fine with, drafting Gurley. He probably will be gone by then. Maybe his injuries will scare other teams into, dropping their attractive to him?

I wouldnt be upset if we drafted him but I'm also not totally against it either. If he does end up being a superstar of course I'll be happy :-p But my mind just keeps thinking about repeating injuries.

Based on a lot of projections I have seen, most good running backs are expected to be gone by the end of round 3, so I would absolutely take Gurley at 36 if he is there because by round 3 when we pick a lot of the better options may be picked over.

Definitely unlucky. The entire situation was unlucky. It was his first game back from suspension for starters. He was still playing late in a game where UGA is already up 20 points with five minutes left in the 4th quarter. The run where he got hurt was your average basic run and was hardly tackled. I felt bad for him watching the game live as it happened.

Or maybe Chubb is the next big thing? It's possible. I mean top programs do get high quality recruits. Before the expected comments, I get the main point of the comments, just pointing out the potential for the opposite.

Before his ACL we'd have had to use our 1st pick to have a chance at him.
