If Jameis is there at 3?

#1

Curious thought came to me what if he fell to us at 3? What do Caldwell do ? What would you do? I personally would draft him 1 because i know he is a winner. 2 because i am noles fan and have seen 95% of his games and I know what he can do positive and negative on the field! In this Nfl business you don't have to commit to a QB.. Look at Manziel, and RG3 and Nick Fowles! Im not committed to Bortles quite yet and if Winston is there at 3 he will be my jags pick!

He won't be there and Dave would trade down if he was. Any more brain busters?

I think too many teams are interested in Jameis Winston for him to fall to #3, but Marcus Mariota will be there and a team like Cleveland might trade up to select him (or if Jameis falls to #3) either way GM Dave Caldwell would trade because they still have faith in Blake Bortles as their franchise QB & they have many needs and the ability to land an additional first round pick next year would be too good to pass up.

I remember when Bridgewaters, and Manziel were like top 10 picks last year and they fell.. I'm not saying Winston is going to fall or will be there at 3 Im just saying "what if he did? Honestly i believe he will go #1. Just was curious what Dave would do in this situation.

What if Jameis fell to #20.  Chip Kelley already has Sanchez and Bradford.  Does he pull the trigger on Jameis?

What if Jameis fell to the 3rd round.  Would the Jags draft a punter and let Jameis go to the Seahawks?

Manziel was a "winner" in college, Tebow was a "winner" in college. It doesn't mean much.

Unless Andrew Luck or Aaron Rodgers somehow redeclares for the draft and are there at #3, Caldwell isn't drafting a QB.

If he was there, I would take him.

What if Luck fell to 3? What about Cam Newton? It just isn't happening, especially in a weak QB class.

If Jameis is there at 3, hopefully there's a trading partner..

Hmm I guess that would depend on who was drafted 1&2 overall I mean if DL Leo Williams is available I would take Leonard over Jameis as he is more likely to be the immediate dominant ProBowl player with the higher chance of upside on the franchise.  If Leo was taken 1st overall and I dont know Fowler Jr taken 2nd for example (wont happen) I could see taking Winston if nobody traded up to get him but I honestly dont think I would...

I would draft A. Cooper WR to give Blake more weapons...

I think Blake could really turn into a Big Ben with the right weapons and Oline.

I don't think you can declare for the draft once you've been in the league for over 2 years.
