Draft Gameplan

#1

Here's the game plan, lets huddle up:

1st Rd: Take Fowler, solidify LEO position. finishes up our front 7, can learn from veteran Chris Clemons on different techniques and what not.

But 2nd Rd, we have some room to play with. We can either go: PJ Williams CB and convert him to safety like a Tyrann Mathieu, excellent coverage corner with good ball skills and instincts. Another variable that goes unnoticed is his tackling ability, PJ tackles like a safety and is good in run support.

MLB Denzel Perryman: Great tackler and great in run support, however in game he seems slow, so I would compare him to a Paul Poz type of MLB.

Lets huddle up:

1st rd: Dante Fowler: Man among boys, great Leo pass rusher who can learn different techniques under Chris Clemons

2nd RD: PJ Williams: CB who can be converted to safety. Tyrann Mathieu type of player with good instincts and play making ability. Good in pressed coverage and good ball skills, also, he is a good tackler who can help in support. would be a bad fit for a high safety if cyprien plays the bear safety role in our defense

Denzel Perryman: Great tackler but slow in game, similar to a Paul Poz with good nose for the ball and good in run support

Breeshad Perryman: Tall WR with good speed and hands, Stephen Hill type, good fit since he and Bortles played and was Bortles main target. Wouldn't mind having since Blackmon is iffy at this point in the offseason.

2nd/ 3rd Rd: RBs

Jay Ayaji, Duke Johnson, or Todd Gurley- take your pick. Ayaji is a powerback with some speed, like a Marshawn. Duke Johnson is elusive and has good ball carrying vision. Can hit a hole and be gone to the House (supposing a good line is blocking for him), and Todd Gurley, aside from his ACL inj we are unknown with what he can and cant do which is why so many teams have a red flag on him. But from recent footage and tapes, he shows to have a great combination of speed and power to make him considered a top tier player.

Players to consider:

Tray Howard CB Miami

Ladarius Gunter CB Miami

 Tevin Coleman RB Indiana

Josh Shaw S USC

 Kurtis Drummond S Mich St

Stephon Diggs WR

Ameer Abdullah RB

Cody Prewitt S

Was just thinking about if we took Perriman because of UCF days. But he ran a 4.19 at his pro day LOL. He will probably go first round now.

That is too fast.  He will break the time continuum and Bortles would have to throw the ball back in time which is almost impossible.

I'd dangle Leonard Williams as trade bait to get an extra pick of any kind. Not sold on him being another Watts. The pass disrupters in this draft are a crapshoot. I'm fine with Beasley, Fowler, Williams, Dupree, Gregory (bottom of first).
