Thanks.

I try to make these things realistic.

I've been going back and forth on Williams and Fowler. I really, really like Williams but I think they will go in another direction.

Fowler is very active and is a frustrating player to block. (My film is watching various full games on youtube and concentrating on one player)

Are you planning on regurgitating this bile in every thread?

You sound like a broken record as much as "we" sound like the media.

Quote:Why??? I don't think there is such a thing as a dumb question, but your question confirms that there are indeed many inquisitive idiots around!

The man has been kicked out and banned by the NFL for his substance abuse which has cost him millions of dollars. Hanging out in casinos... an environment that encourages drinking (among other things)... is not a place a recovering addict needs to be around. He is going to have to deal with this addiction for the rest of his life so he doesn't need to hang out at places that are going to make the temptation worse, especially around 'spring break' time; that's like throwing gas on a fire!

I hope that was just ice tea in his glass.
Everything you just typed is dumb. There certainly ARE dumb questions, mine wasn't one of them. But you gave a perfect example of a dumb answer.

Casinos "encouraging" drinking, LOL. A casino encourage gambling, thats it. Blackmon does not have a gambling problem. Is he allowed to go to a gas station that has beer? That might make his temptations worse right? What about a restaurant that serves alcohol, cant be there either right? Grocery store?

Blackmon has been spotted at a casino many times, none of them led to ANY misconduct. If he was at a bar you might have a point, but he wasnt, so you dont. Dont let those facts get in the way of your idiocy. Smile

Last time Blackmon was spotted at a casino he had a cup of cranberry juice and the board crucified him for being "drunk" at 9am.

Casinos certainly do encourage drinking... so folks will do more gambling.

They encourage all gamblers to have a "good time", meaning booze, services, etc...  there are a lot of things they encourage to help increase gambling.

Casinos in no way "encourage" drinking. They serve drinks, If YOU want a drink you can get one. They encourage gambling, thats it.

Saying they encourage drinking is like saying any place that serves alcohol encourages drinking. Applebees serves drinks, they dont "encourage" drinking.

Busted. Ya got me. I'm 50/50 on returning. Like the jokes have really hurt. Like JB. You mean Justin Blackmon or Jack Black. Really guys.?

I've really lurked here for some time, and yes, I'm making my decision depending on MB support.

Start a poll, and I'll decide from there. So far, it's a shot in the dark. Ok...no " shot" jokes comedians.

Cheers...err... Sincerely,

Justin

Don't encourage? Giving drinks for free while betting? That's just being nice?

You can get a free drink if YOU want one. And guess what, you can go to a casino and not drink anything. CRAZY!!

Grocery store offer free samples, I guess that means they are encouraging obesity right?

I have. A few times. Got so bad one night, I was down to 4 quarters. So I'd wait for waitress, let her see me tug on the " bandit" and order a beer. Did that 4 times. Drank the beer. Waited on server, put in quarter and ordered again.

Miserable night. Why didn't I leave. I was waiting on guys who drove and were emptying the ATM.

But as long as I gambled, it was free. So I'd say that's encouraging.

But back to JB. Wherever he goes, temptation is there. He beats this, or doesn't. Can't send him to a Tibetean monastery.

I'll hold your hand through this because obviously you are dumber than a rock:

Quote:

Individuals who suffer from alcoholism or alcohol abuse problems, a casino is place where they can drink to excess without being criticized, judged or discouraged. Functioning alcoholics often surround themselves with people or go to places that their alcoholism is easily hidden in the cultural norms. At horse races, excessive drinking is encouraged to celebrate wins or forget about losses.

Quote:

Gambling is a commonplace activity that is often associated with socializing, drinking and drug taking. Going to a casino will place a person in a building that is designed to encourage excessive gambling, drinking and even consumption of illicit drugs. Many casinos are open 24 hours a day and provide customers with comfortable surroundings, cheap food and drinks to encourage a person to stay within the walls.

Nah...Casinos don't encourage gambling. They let you gamble if YOU want to.

So. Dumb.
