Im 28 years old, and this is exactly how i feel. Even though i don't live in Jacksonville(i would LOVE to find an IT job down there though) We are now having our own kids raising them as jags fans. We are finally getting the foundation for he fanbase of this team. It's ironic too, it seems the team itself as well is getting its foundation at the same time!

I am so glad you feel this way. It seems to me that many Jaguars fans around our age, feel an incredible connection with this franchise, as the should! Go JAGS!

The passion is real. If you ever see a "Justin K" on yahoo or a "bob jones" on NFLN defending the Jags. Its me, I'm tired of being the red-headed stepchild of the NFL. No more being pushed over. When Jacksonville ever gets brought up(and i mean when they do) all the talking heads just laugh and Joke about us. Im personally sick of it and feel it is our due diligence as somewhat the voice of the team to defend.

Generation Jacksonville can remember having to cheer for a team not their own, we can remember the news of Irsay coming to town. Of the Oilers tugging at our heart strings.  We can remember how Jacksonville was never meant to be crowned an NFL city at least in the national media's eyes.  We lived the whole ride and party of getting our beloved Jaguars.  A sweet ride it has been.

When I was younger the Jaguars where my everything, as I've aged it's become something I leisurely enjoy. When they do bad it doesn't effect me the way it used to, not sure if it's age or just apathy setting in?

Grew up in Jax (age 10-17) and was a fan when the team was formed. Moved away due to the military but will always be a Jags fan and will move home/buy season tix when I retire. #DTWD

In 1994 me and several of my friends burned our old teams apparel in a friend of mines back yard. We were all in!!! Most of us where 35 to 42 years old. Over the years most have given up and gone back to Steelers,Miami,Atlanta and Dallas.

I have stayed true to my Jaguars. In fact I hate the other 31 cities!!!

The deal is all their kids who are now 18 to 28 are tremendous Jaguar fans. The what I call youth have never seen a real Jaguar team(2007 best). If we start winning we will explode onto the scene. Going to a Jaguar game is the thing to do now on Sundays.

I have had bad health problems but hope I can hang on to see this team go on the rise more than any thing I have followed in sports. We are not being made as much fun of as we used to. If we go 4-12 or so this franchise will be damaged....bad!!!

We need to win now. No more screwing around. We need players!

Don't limit yourself to the Jacksonville area.  If you are working in IT, you can look at positions on the space coast and Orlando.  With the new rocket program starting up, job growth is set to follow.  It isn't too bad of a drive for game day up from Central Florida.  If you could find a job at your current wages, it would be a raise to your take home.  No income tax in Florida goes a long way.  Little know thing about Florida is that they don't apply state sales tax to food purchases.

When I lived in Missouri sales tax was applied to everything.

Birth of the Franchise - November 30, 1993
Death of the Franchise - November 29, 2011

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

That is awesome advice. I have for the past couple years been trying to setup a move. I don't have kids, and currently just rent up here. I make an ok days wage in an area which has low Cost of Living, and my g/f can take her job anywhere. I am a big fan of the warm weather(i HATE snow). But at my current job id like to stay here and hoepfully take it with me there. And yea, Pa sales tax is 6% on the dollar. I hate it.

So, you basically joined this board to pimp out your website?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I raised my kids as Jag fans. It was a mistake. SoS ... Sick of the Suck

Good grief.. 4-12 is the bar? That is genuinely pathetic.

About the only things I am clinging to are Allen Hurns' heart, AR15's clutch, and a D-line that didn't quit.
