Jags no longer with the most cap room

#1

<a class="" href='https://twitter.com/VicTafur'>@VicTafur</a>: Branch, Woodley and MJD off the books puts <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Raiders?src=hash'>#Raiders</a> at $64 million under the salary cap. Schaub's departure will make it $69.5

Time to release Poz and Marcedes.

I'd guess Lewis will be cut or at minimum takes a sizable pay cut, but Poz ends up staying.

Ugh. One minute I'm really excited for the start of FA and to see all the new toys we get, the next I'm extremely pessimistic that we are going to get coal and preparing for another 3-13 or worse season and Caldwell and Bradley being fired.

I just really need Free Agency to begin.

It's really irrelevant who has more cap space to work with in this instance.

If it comes down to a choice between Jacksonville and Oakland, it'll be about more than just cap space.  The direction each organization is headed will be a factor.  So will state and local income taxes that are collected in CA, but not in FL.  We don't have to release anyone.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

You can have a successful FA period without having the most cap room in the NFL. I wouldn't sweat over this honor if I were you....

It only matters in a situation like we had last year where our #1 FA target had the transition player tag.
