Peyton Manning

It's being reported that Peyton is taking $4 Million less, dropping form $19M to $15M, to help open up some cap space.  I am assuming this is an attempt to resign Julius Thomas.  What do you guys think?

I have a feeling we are going to get Marcedes Lewis 2.0(Gresham)

4 mil pay cut, but actually clearing 10 mil in cap space somehow. Supposedly it's to make Demaryius' long term deal easier to get done, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wound up giving them the ability to keep Julius either.

If Thomas and his agent are smart he'll test the market regardless of whatever Denver is offering. He has a chance to become the highest paid TE in the league.

If they keep JT, that's all the more reason for the Jags to overspend on Suh.. Get it done!!

Denver is not going to re-sign Julius Thomas. The Broncos franchise tagged Demariyus Thomas, so they had to make room for his huge salary. Without the franchise tag, they would most likely lose their #1 receiver.

His best chances of that are in Jacksonville and Oakland. All reports seem to point to Jacksonville, so I assume we are making a stronger push for him than the Raiders. But do the Jaguars have more than money to lure him southeast?
