Ridley is coming off a torn ACL. Damaged goods or an opportunity to get a bargain? Two years removed from having a 1200 Yds/12 TD season, he was always a guy to me who had great shiftiness to him, and a threat in space, as well as a good receiver. Will he be that same guy coming off a major injury? I think if he's willing to take Gerhart-type money, he'd be worth a shot, being only 26 years of age.

He's a guy with injury problems who was constantly in Belichick's doghouse. He'd have to be a consideration at the right price, but my definition of "the right price" is probably a lot lower than what some other team will offer.

The team can find equivalent talent in the draft this year, and do it on a shoestring budget compared with what he'd probably ask for in free agency.  The front office has already made it pretty clear that RB wasn't a position they were targeting with any sort of priority in free agency.

If i was going for a RB in free agency go for Murray or Ingram, if not draft one since this class is loaded with RB
