Good for him. He may be due for a promotion, either here or elsewhere, in the next couple of years.

Not to rain on the parade, but its a bit curious that he won this award. Our draft class for 2014 goes: UCF, USC, PSU, Miami, OU, FSU, Arkansas, Virginia, UCF. Our other productive rookie is from Miami. Aside from Allen Robinson, there's no one in that list that I'd attribute to our Northeast scout.

TBH I'm not sure how the judge the scouts to determine a winner. It could be based on a number of things not directly related to their particular region.

Perhaps he told the team not to draft any players from the Northeast.

Genius !!!

No doubt the guy is a great scout, maybe deserves a raise and promotion, but, the award is from The Fritz Pollard Alliance.   So I am wondering if the award was only open to African American scouts.  That would make him African American AFC South Scout of the Year.

Not trying to be negative, just wondering why the Fritz Pollard Alliance would be giving out an award called "AFC South Scout of the Year."  The Fritz Pollard Alliance was established to advocate for the promotion of minority candidates throughout the NFL.

So, you'd rather have Khalil Mack than Blake Bortles?  Essentially, that is what you are saying ....
