I recall Notre Dame being the team that broke UCLA's 88 game winning streak.    I'm old enough to remember this happening.    I can't recall the details of the game though other than it being an exciting ending of the game and believe the game was in South Bend.

The last unbeaten national champions were the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers.   32-0.  

 

As an IU grad, I'm rooting for UK to lose and for IU to keep that distinction.
