Seahawks might not be able to keep one member of the Legion of Boom for next season

Quote:Guess who it is. Byron Maxwell. He is a pending free agent. But he is the only healthy LOB player, so the Seahawks certainly will want to keep him if they can. He would certain be a good addition to the jaguars.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
McCray and Colvin have more potential as starters than Maxwell. Don't see the connection other than playing in Seattle's system. Perhaps he'll head to Atlanta to play for Quinn.

That would be a safe bet. Look at how many Seahawks followed Gus Bradley to Jacksonville. But I am guessing the Seahawks have enough money to keep him in Seattle. Legion of boom; what a crock. I wonder what college team they ripped that off of.
Byron Maxwell is a solid corner, nothing too flashy. I know he has the size Gus likes in his CBs, so that might make things interesting come March 10th. I don't think we sign him though.
Maxwell's a better player than Colvin now, that's for sure, but I think that Colvin has the potential to ultimately be better than Maxwell. I could see the Jaguars making a push for him this spring (and potentially nudging Gratz off the roster entirely by doing so), but I'm not sure he'd be a long-term fix.
I like the Maxwell to Atlanta theory, actually. We're going to have some competition for those ex-Seahawks this year. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I'm not sure that Caldwell will be ready to write off Gratz that fast. He may be a backup level player, but he's going in to his 3rd year and was a relatively high pick. Not that he's good, I just don't think Dave's going to say he was wrong on the guy after 2 years.
I do believe if he doesnt stay with the seahawks he will become a Falcon.

I don't think he'll just dump Gratz immediately upon signing/drafting someone else, but I wouldn't be surprised if he were a late trade/cut in camp. Quote:Maxwell is a solid player. Not sure where the hate is coming from. Making up excuses to let our young guys learn on the job and save money for other free agents. I don't think people really hate him. Quote:Maxwell is a solid player. Not sure where the hate is coming from. Dont worry. If he is signed everyone will love him.
Maxwell is a clone of McCray IMO. They both play on the right side also so one of them would have to play on the left side. Would be a solid addition
